Understanding yourself is where change begins
Have you ever found yourself wondering why you think, feel, or react the way you do? Maybe you keep falling into the same patterns, feel overwhelmed by your own thoughts, or just know something in your life isn't working the way you'd like it to.
Hi, I'm Carly! I believe therapy is about more than learning how to cope with what life throws at us. It's also an opportunity to get curious about ourselves, make connections between our past and present, and better understand the things that shape who we are.
My approach is collaborative, genuine, and rooted in the belief that you are the expert on your own life. I'm here to help you explore, challenge, and make sense of things along the way, so that the changes you make feel meaningful to you.

Whatever brings you here, we'll work together to better understand what you're going through and what you need.
Some areas I have experience supporting clients with include:
Anxiety and excessive worry
OCD and intrusive thoughts
Depression
Trauma and difficult life experiences
Relationship and family concerns/attachment wounds
Self-esteem and self-worth
Life transitions and personal growth
Grief and loss
Stress, burnout, and feeling stuck
Neurodivergent-affirming care
And if you don't see what you're struggling with on this list, that's okay, too. You don't need a diagnosis or even know exactly what's wrong to begin.

I don't believe therapy should look the same for everyone. What works for one person might not work for another, which is why I take an individualized approach to our work together.
I draw from several therapeutic approaches, including:
Person-Centered Therapy: Creating a space where you feel heard, understood, and accepted without judgment.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): Exploring how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence one another and learning ways to navigate unhelpful patterns.
Psychodynamic Therapy: Looking at how past experiences, relationships, and patterns may be influencing how you feel and navigate life today.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT): Learning to make room for uncomfortable thoughts and feelings while moving toward a life that aligns with your values.
While these approaches help guide our work, I believe the relationship we build is just as important as the techniques we use. Therapy is a collaborative process, and we'll figure out what works best for you, together.

I work with individuals across different ages and stages of life, including:
Children ages 11 and up
Teens and adolescents
Young adults
Adults
I welcome neurodivergent clients, including individuals with ADHD and autism, and take a neurodiversity-affirming approach to therapy. I also offer couples and family sessions when additional support or collaboration may be helpful.

Bloom Therapy is an out-of-network provider, but that doesn't necessarily mean you can't use your insurance benefits!
If your plan includes out-of-network mental health coverage, you may be eligible for reimbursement toward the cost of sessions.
Here's how it works:
We check your benefits. My billing team can help you understand your out-of-network coverage, including any deductible you may need to meet.
We handle the claims. My billing team submits claims to your insurance company, so you don't have to navigate that process on your own.
Payment depends on your coverage. If you haven't met your out-of-network deductible, you'll typically be responsible for session costs until it's met. Once insurance begins reimbursing, I generally don't require payment upfront. Depending on your plan, reimbursement may be sent directly to you or to Bloom Therapy.
Coverage, reimbursement amounts, and out-of-pocket costs vary by insurance plan.
Prefer to pay out of pocket?
I also offer sliding-scale fees for self-pay clients based on individual financial circumstances. If cost is a concern, please don't hesitate to reach out. We can discuss whether a reduced rate may be an option for you.
Not sure what your insurance covers?
Feel free to reach out! My billing team can help review your benefits, and information about session fees is available upon request.
A Look Inside Bloom
I believe therapy should be a space where you feel safe, comfortable, and free to be yourself. Whether you're sharing something difficult, exploring new perspectives, or simply figuring things out as you go, having a space where you feel at ease can make all the difference.
